Heathrow Airport (LHR) to Increase Charges by £320m for Expansion

Heathrow Airport has received approval from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) to increase charges to airlines by up to £320 million to cover early expenses for its third runway project. This will result in an increment of around 15p added to ticket prices in 2028, potentially rising to 30p in subsequent years. Additionally, the Arora Group's Heathrow West will be allowed to recover £4.1 million in costs.
