Amazon (AMZN) Offers Ozempic Pill with Same-Day Delivery

Amazon.com (AMZN) has announced that its pharmacy will stock Novo Nordisk's Ozempic pill for type 2 diabetes, offering same-day delivery in approximately 3,000 locations, expanding to 4,500 by year-end. Patients can order the medication for $149 per month or $25 with insurance. Amazon has been providing GLP-1 medications since 2021 and previously stocked Novo's Wegovy weight-loss drug. The initiative aims to enhance access to medications for customers, with half of U.S. customers eligible for same-day delivery.
