Aberdeen Airport Strike: 14 Days of Action Planned Over Pay Issues

Security staff at Aberdeen Airport will initiate 14 consecutive days of strike action, starting Monday, due to unresolved pay negotiations with ICTS HBS Security. The Unite union stated that failure to find common ground through the conciliation service Acas left them no choice. The strike is expected to cause significant delays, particularly as baggage screening staff make up the majority of the team at the airport. This action follows previous summer strikes at other Scottish airports that were averted with new agreements.
