Toy Story 5 Debuts with $300M Opening Weekend Box Office

Disney's Toy Story 5 achieved a record opening weekend with global ticket sales exceeding $300 million (£227 million). In North America, it grossed over $160 million, while international earnings surpassed $150 million. This marks the second-largest opening weekend of the year, trailing only The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, which has grossed more than $1 billion. With a production budget of $250 million, Toy Story 5 is expected to recoup costs by generating at least double that amount in revenue.
