Little Stars Charity Launches 2025 Christmas Gift Campaign Starting Oct 24

Little Stars, a charity in Shropshire providing free essentials to families in need, expects high demand for its 2025 Christmas present campaign. The campaign, Santa's Little Stars, will run from Saturday 24 October to Friday 4 December. The public is invited to donate new, unwrapped toys and gifts at collection points in Shrewsbury's Darwin shopping centre and nearby stores. Donations will be wrapped and distributed to children from birth to age 17 and pregnant women referred to the charity. Since its launch in 2020, the campaign has given out over 8,000 presents to more than 2,100 children. The charity noted 2025 as its largest campaign year so far and expects demand to remain high as many families continue facing financial difficulties. This local initiative is important for community support during the holiday season because it helps families access gifts when budgets are tight.
