Library of Things Opens in Leamington with Community Focus

Leamington's 'Library of Things' started operations in January 2026, facilitating the borrowing of everyday items. It follows a similar initiative previously successful in Oxford. Currently, the scheme features both common household items and unique goods, including a unicycle and sewing machines, aimed at reducing ownership burdens. Maurice Herson, the founder, highlighted that the concept has expanded from six locations in the UK to over one hundred in the last decade, indicating significant community interest.
