Gatwick Airport Water Supply Issue Impacts Operations, Passengers Affected

Gatwick Airport is experiencing water supply issues affecting both terminals, with toilets out of order and restaurant closures. SES Water, covering areas including the airport, reported complications due to a power outage at the Bough Beech Water Treatment Works, causing low water pressure and temporary loss of supply. Bottled water is being provided, but some passengers have not received announcements or seen the distribution. EasyJet stated bag drop desks will now open two hours before departure instead of three, advising passengers not to arrive early, which may affect travel plans.
