Netflix Show Boosts Restaurant Bookings by 303% in Five Weeks

The South Korean government's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism plans to incorporate food tourism in its 2026 strategy, reflecting a broader trend of increased culinary tourism following the pandemic. Additionally, Singapore reported a 15% rise in food and beverage tourism spending from January to September 2025, and around 82% of tourists in Japan indicated that experiencing local cuisine was a key travel expectation.
