Dangote Breaks Ground on $16B Kenya Oil Refinery Project

Local protests have arisen over compensation for land used, but Dangote insists the project will continue as planned for completion by 2030. The refinery represents a significant investment in Kenya's infrastructure, surpassing the $5.1 billion Standard Gauge Railway and could influence regional energy dynamics.
