Cerebras (CBRS) Unveils 165 MW AI Data Center in Finland

On September 1, Cerebras Systems (NASDAQ: CBRS) announced a new AI data center in Mikkeli, Finland, which will reach 165 MW of contracted capacity in stages. The first phase of construction is underway for 50 MW. For the quarter ending June 30, Cerebras reported cloud revenue growth of 281% year-over-year, with $25.4 billion in customer obligations pending delivery. However, despite revenue growth, the company also reported a negative operating margin of 265% and guided for core margins to remain negative in the third quarter. This matters for investors as it indicates Cerebras is investing heavily to meet demand while facing ongoing losses.
