As a result, applications to these 'contract departments' increased by over 38% year-on-year, with Samsung seeing a 6.5% rise and SK Hynix experiencing a 12.7% increase. Currently, there are 13.44 applicants per spot in Samsung's programs and 9.14 applicants per spot in SK Hynix's courses.
