HIVE (HIVE) Reports 74% Revenue Growth in Q1 2027 Earnings

HIVE Digital Technologies (Nasdaq: HIVE) reported total revenue of $79.1 million for the fiscal first quarter of 2027, reflecting a 73.5% year-over-year increase. Most of this revenue, $72.1 million, came from bitcoin mining, which grew nearly 77%, with the company mining 1,004 bitcoin, up 147% from the previous year. Despite revenue gains, HIVE faced a net loss of $142.9 million, largely due to an $84.7 million provision related to a tax dispute in Sweden. The adjusted EBITDA was reported at $13.4 million, and HIVE ended the quarter with $208 million in cash, indicating operational strength.
