Ford (F) Super Duty Truck Production Hits 20-Year High

Ford Motor Company (F) reported a 20-year high in production of its Super Duty trucks, exceeding 39,000 units in August, the best output since March 2006. Additionally, F-150 truck production reached its peak since August 2024. This increase comes after resolving issues with aluminum supplier Novelis, which cost Ford an estimated $1.5 billion this year. Despite this, Ford has seen an 8-month decline in U.S. new vehicle sales, falling by 10.3% year-over-year in August, highlighting ongoing challenges in the market for Ford despite increased production.
