FCC Bans Foreign Humanoid Robots, China Threatens Retaliation

China's commerce ministry stated this move 'severely damages' economic and trade stability between the U.S. and China, threatening countermeasures if the decision is not withdrawn. Chinese companies Agibot, Unitree, and UBTech were the top three humanoid producers by installation market share last year, while Tesla's (TSLA) Optimus ranked fifth. This situation may negatively impact Chinese humanoid producers planning IPOs as market tensions escalate, which could concern investors focused on tech stocks.
