Baladna (BALAD) Partners with World Bank for Syria Dairy Project

Baladna Food Industries (BALAD) is collaborating with the International Finance Corp. to support Syria's dairy industry. The project aims to assess milk production capacity and explore consolidation opportunities in Syria's food-insecure environment. In addition, Baladna has contracts worth $635 million as part of a $3.5 billion project aimed at enhancing local powdered milk production in Algeria. The partnership highlights the importance of rebuilding dairy production in conflict-affected regions while creating jobs and restoring nutritional value.
