American Eagle Outfitters (AEO) Names Ravi Thanawala as CFO

American Eagle Outfitters (AEO) appointed Ravi Thanawala as CFO effective August 3, 2026. Thanawala, previously CFO of Papa John's International, will receive a base salary of $1 million plus performance incentives and a $1 million cash bonus. The company reaffirmed its financial guidance, targeting a mid-single-digit increase in comparable sales and operating income between $390 million and $410 million for the year. Mike Mathias, the outgoing CFO, will transition to a strategic adviser role to support Thanawala during this period.
